Florida

The begining of June I was able to go to Orlando Florida. My dad had a business convention at one of the resorts on walt disney world so he had already planned on taking my mom, kyla, and michael. I was able to get work off at the last minute and was able to go with. I had a great time. It was my first time at Walt Disney World and so I was soakin up every second of it. Here are some pics

Happy May

So this weekend my Mom flew to Salt Lake to spend the weekend with me and celebrate my birthday early, and to also sing at the tulip festival at Thanksgiving Point. Well the tulip festival got rained out, and so we went shopping got pedicures, and just had a girls weekend. It was so much fun, Thanks Mom... I love YOU

My beautiful sisters Errin and Ashley bought me this gorgeous Mother of Pearl necklace with matching earings. Thanks girls I love it...

Da Vinci

So the other day my boss asked to speak with me. I was a little nervous and I was thinking whats going on that she would like to speak to me. And then I started thinking about why do I get to be nervous I have done nothing wrong. I hate it how I always think if the boss wants to speak it must not be good. WRONG.. So anyways she told me that the hospital was going to be getting a Da Vinci. Which is a robot that the doctor works with to do minimally invasive surgery. So in our case at St Marks it would be genitourinary and gyncological. (aka gyn and urology)So where I come in? She has asked me to be on the team. She picked me and one other scrub who will go and get training on the instrument and then be the ones who assist in the surgery and then later on down the road teach the other scrubs. I am so excited and pleased that out of the 20 techs that work at st marks she picked me.
Here is a pic and I will explain:

The doctor sits in this booth and places his/her hands in a machine type device, that the robot picks up, so it is guided by the doctor. The doctor also looks into this monitor which is 3D and magnified and able to see what is going on and what they get to do. Me as the tech I stand at the sterile field with the robot and pass instruments and assist up with the robot.
Pretty Interesting. I will let you know how it goes.

Princess Party

So my friend Jenn, has a daughter who just turned 5 and so we had a princess birthday party. It was a lot of fun, the girls she invited came dressed up. We had several different stations set up where we painted there nails, curled and styled there hair, put a little make up on, made wands, necklaces and bracelets, and also did bindi's on their foreheads. Bindi's are a painted design that is traditional in India, as a symbol of the Feminine Goddess that we all are. It was so fun to dress up and spend time with just girls, and the little girls loved every minute of it.

St George :)

So I went to St George this last weekend. The weather was beautiful and it was so fun to spend time with my family. I love them to Death... Errin, Michael, Ali and I were killing some time between my sister Kyla's basketball game and decided to go take some pictures. Errin took these and they are so cute I had to show them off. Thanks Errin I love You...:)

Happy Valentines

So I had a great Valentines. My friend Brice had a 1920's Valentines party. It was a lot of fun to see what everyone dressed up as. I already owned the shoes, dress and fish net stockings, and then went out and bought the boa and gloves. It was way cute. Then I left half way through and went to my friend Todd and Eric's Valentines party, which consisted of dancing, eating, and rock band. It was a lot of fun. Thanks Guys... The Move

So if you did not know I moved to a new place. In Jan I was asked to move out because the friends I was renting from needed the place so there daughter and son in law could move in due to the recession they could not afford to pay there mortgage and go to school full time, so they are renting there apartment in Orem and moved into my old basement apartment. I was having issues with it at first and it came on all of a sudden and was very hard at first. My sweet mother immedietly got on craigs list and ksl and emailed me all the listings that she thought I would like, and from there I found this place. It is an older house in Holladay, Ut and its really close to work, (less than 2 miles). So I am renting a room. I have roomates now and things are definetely different but for the best. It really hit hard the first night when I was so exausted from moving and went to wash my face and couldn't because one of the girls was using the bathroom. I cried and cried. (LOL) The good news is I save $100 dollars a month on rent, I am 2 miles from work instead of 30 minutes. I am 5 minutes from the gym, and it is such a fun location. Oh Yea and I have roomates to make more friends and I hear the ward is a lot of fun. So my life has been extrememly crazy the last 2 weeks but I am finally adjusted and feel at home. Here are some pics of my bedroom. I would go take a pic of the house but there is a blizzard out side and I don't feel like going out there. :)
