POWER

I had a really great experience today at work. Lately in the mornings on my way to work I declare audibly what I want to create that day, and then I ask my Heavenly Father and my Angels to assist me in that. Some days I choose unconditional love, wisdom, patience, forgiveness, or whatever I am feeling at that moment. I never think about it I will just say what comes to my heart. I challenge you all to do it, it is amazing. Well today I declared Personal Power becuase I have been struggling with that and realized that I just get to fully step into my power and claim it. When I got to work and saw what room I was in, the Dr, and the nurse I was working with, I immedietaley chose to become frustrated and mad. I continued to choose into this until about halfway through the first case when I had a huge ahah moment. I started asking myself why I had choosen to feel this way and how it was serving me at this moment, and what I got to do differently. I realized that by choosing into the negativity and the frustration of the room, Dr, and nurse that I was giving up my personal power, I was not in control of me, this negativity and frustration was in control and I had just thrown my personal power out the window in one split second. I quickly adjusted and chose love and power and the rest of the day was great, I was still extremely excited when 3pm rolled around and I could leave but it was perfect.
I challenge you all the next time you get upset or choose negativity to remember you are giving your personal power away and choose love and see what happens.

time for a new post

My sister informed me it is time for a new post. I don't blame her, my computer is really old and has not been working that well. It will not let me download any pictures and so I was still waiting out on that. A lot of things have been happening in my life, and it has been very buisy, which is a great thing.
It was Madi and Kenna's birthday on the 4th Of Oct. They wanted to have a snowman birthday, it turned out so great. Kristie and Ryan decorated the basement to look like a winter wonderland.

Kyla also came up that same weekend. We went to Nickle Mania, which is this huge arcade game store that only costs nickels. We had a great time. Saturday we went to the girls birthday party and assisted with making the snowman. After all the kids went home we played in the basement with the girls checking out there new gifts. They got a tea set, so of course we had a tea party, and played barbies and polly pockets. It was FUN...

It snowed that weekend and so Kyla and I went to SnowBird and we rode the tram to the top of the Mt. It was goregous and of course we were not dressed for the weather. I was standing in thigh deep snow at one point. Here are some pictures of Kyla.. Brrrr

Mt Shasta

On Septemebr 17th I had the oppurtunity to go to Mt Shasta California. What an incredible experience. I stayed in a Chalet on the edge of Lake Siskiyou. The lake was beautiful with a perfect view of Mt Shasta. It was very Heavenly.

Thursday, started out with training at the resort, the resort prepared lunches for all of us (120 people) and we took them and went to the head waters of the Sacramento river. Which runs directly off of Mt Shasta. It was gorgeous. I was able to fill my water bottle up directly from the water and drink it immediately. It was pure living water and very delicious.

There was also this amazing area with different types of trees and bamboo at the head waters. This one tree I took a pic of is connected at the bottom, and then reconnects about 100 ft up. It was amazing, look at the branches of the one on the left. It looks like it has been kept alive by the tree on the right.. Its Beautiful.

After the head waters we drove about 30 minutes to some water falls, there was a upper, middle and lower fall. The water was very cold but I got in anyway. It was very refreshing, cleansing, and rejuvenating. Notice the rocks, and the luscious green plants growing around.

Friday, was incredible we all met that morning in the training room at the resort, and then we got our lunches and drove to Glass Mountain. Glass Mountain is exactly what it sounds like. It is a huge mountain of Obsidian. A lot of the area around Mt Shasta at one point was a huge volcano, and when it erupted the molton lava cooled so fast it had no time to crysallize, creating Obsidian. Obsidian is an amazing stone without boundaries or limitations, so it works extremely fast and with great power. It also eliminates energy blockages and relieves tension. I just have to say that I was sick the first few days at Shasta. I left wednesday morning with the flu and on thursday as I was sitting on this mountain of Obsidian, I could feel my head and sinuses draining, and after a few hours I was totally fine, I had no flu and I felt great. I also get to add, that it assists in dissolving blockages and tension in the physical body, including hardened arteries. (so my dad gets to have a piece of this)

After Glass Mountain, we drove back to Mt Shasta and the girls shopped and the boys went grocery shopping for dinner, they had planned on cooking us dinner. I get to add I was staying in a chalet and traveled with 2 other couples Jenn and Scott and Ashley and Marcus. Marcus and Scott came back to get us and had mentioned that they found a crystal shop that they wanted to show Jenn, Ashley and I. As we were walking back to the crystal shop Marcus and Scott wanted to know how they were going to explain me to the crystal shop. Becuase they told the workers that they were from Utah and were going to come back with there wives. But there were only 2 men and 3 woman and Utah practices polygamy, so the boys were wondering how they were going to explain me. It was pretty funny. That night while the boys were cooking dinner Ashley, Jenn and I got in our swimming suits and walked out the back door and down to the lake and went swimming. It was so much fun, the water felt great and it was a direct view of the Mount. We swam arcoss the lake to the other side and then enjoyed the view. It was gorgeous. Here is a pic.

Saturday, was the best. We woke up and met everyone around 7:30 am, and drove up Mt Shasta. There is a road that goes about half way up the mount. At the top of the Mount where we drove to which is the farthest we could drive to is a place called Panther Meadow. It is just a beautiful meadow, with an amazing view of Mt Shasta. It is very quiet and peaceful, and breath taking. we spent most of the day at Panther Meadow, none of us wanted to leave. The whole time while we were at Panther Meadow there was a group of blue birds flying around me and above me. So I started to follow them and they lead me to this tree, which was incredible and amazingly peaceful, I ended up spending some time with this tree and just felt her energy and the beauty of Mother Nature. Here is a couple of pics.

So the whole time the birds still kept flying around and so I knew they had led me to this tree, so I took some pics of it but I still wasn't sure what the whole meaning was. Well when I got home and downloaded the pics I saw that there are about 6 or 7 birds at the very top. So click on the pic to blow it up bigger and see the birds.

That night we all (120) of us met back at the resort for a very nice dinner and a time to share and talk and enjoy one anothers company. I did not want it to end. It was such and incredible time and experiance. Mt Shasta to me felt very peaceful and heavenly. I felt like I was home in heaven, like what the pre existance felt like before coming to earth. So leaving it on Sunday was very hard. It felt like I had been waiting to go there my whole life and reconnect my spirit and then to have to leave it again was difficult. And I know that must have been what it felt like to leave our heavenly home and come to this earth. I also learned that Mt Shasta was planted on this earth from a different planet. And also the white cloud you see above Mt Shasta is always there in the day and usually gone at night. This is a pic of Mt Shasta with the clouds very thick and full. Isn't it awesome!

Mt Shasta is the place where the Masters and light workers live and do there work, so they create that cloud during the day so as to not draw attention to them. There is a community of lightworkers that live in Mt Shasta and have for hundreds of years, they are 5th dimensional beings, they look like you and I except they are a lot taller and there skin is very pale. They were once a part of Lemuria and Atlantis and when that was destroyed they moved to Mt Shasta.
I know this post is long, but enjoy. It was an incredible experiance and I will be going back....

SLEEP OVER

Friday night Madison and McKenna came over and had a sleep over at "shells" house. They were so excited. It had been since about february since they slept over and I had told Kristie that one of these nights when I was not on call I wanted to have them over.
The whole ride over in the car they could not stop talking about "shells" house and what we were going to do. Of course stay up was one of them. (to them 10:00 is staying up) They also informed me that they could sleep on the couch that folds into a bed becuase thats where they slept last time, and by the way Michael and Kyla (my bro and sis) were there last time, so of course they asked if they were going to be there this time. I told the girls no and that Michael and Kyla live in St George. They also asked if they could have popcorn with M&M's in it like last time and I had popcorn but no M&M's so it wasn't as apealing. (They sure have a good memory, no fooling these two :)
We stayed up and watched "Cat in the Hat," and Madison chose that movie because it is Michaels favorite movie. We went to bed around 10:30 and they slept till about 9:30 the next morning. When they woke we made pancakes and eggs. (which was the only food in my house, I didn't even have milk for cereal. yikes) Then the girls wanted to watch another movie so Mckenna chose "Mickey's Christmas" They are a little excited for Christmas. After that they wanted to play some kiddy games but I don't have many kiddy games so they asked me if they could do chores. I had no problem saying no to that. So they mopped my floor, cleaned my kitchen sink, vacuumed, washed my windows and did my laundry. It was GREAT... and the cool thing is, is they are so OCD about the little things that they don't miss anything. Mckenna mopped the same area over and over and over again many times I finally had to tell her to mop a different area, she kept showing me all she had collected on the mop. It was pretty great.
Then they chose to watch "Elf".. Im telling you they can't wait till Christmas. I think one reason is they get a new brother and there will be lots of snow.
So I had a great weekend with the Girls and My house got cleaned. It can't get any better than that...

I LOVE YOU Madi Cat and Kenna Roo :)

(I look a little scary in this one)

My Dad and his Olympic friends

My dad had the most incredible oppurtunity the last couple of days and that was to fly the Men's and Women's US Gymnastics Team to Chicago for the Oprah show which will air on Monday the 8th at 400 pm. So below is what he experienced but my mom is telling the story. ( I didn't want to rewrite it)

The US Men's and Women's Olympic Team - Beijing 2008!

Nastia and Robin on the flight deck. (see the medals???)

Shawn riding in the over-head luggage bin.

Robin's new Olympic Crew!

Nastia - Robin - Kristi - John

What an opportunity Robin had. They picked up the team Tuesday night in Reno, and after a couple of hours in flight, the flight attendant came to the flight deck and informed them that the Olympic crew were enjoying themselves and she had pictures of them in the overhead bins. They wanted to see if they would fit (they were obviously having a great time).

Robin was able to go in the back and they seemed to think they were going to get in trouble when they say the man in uniform coming, but really all he wanted to do was meet them and tell them how proud we were of their accomplishments and that we had cheered them on from the comfort of the couch. They seemed surprised that he knew their names and had taken interest in watching their performances. Hearing that, they offered to allow another photo shoot, making sure he was "in the picture." After the photos were taken, Johnathon Horton, declared that he was now a celebrity (he just felt honored to have had the opportunity to be in their presence).

They all wanted to sit in the flight deck and have their pictures taken, but Robin had to regrettably inform them that it couldn't be done (thanks to Osama), but that he would make the time for them to do it the next day before they left Chicago. Everyone took him up on it and they all had the opportunity to sit at the controls and "play" like they were flying. This also provided another photo shoot and it was at this time that Nastia took out her medals and shared them. Robin kicked himself that he didn't have his uniform hat with him, because he thought about a pose where they could trade the hat for the medals in a picture (darn). He said the medals were "pretty fancy."

He had the time to talk to a few of the gymnasts individually (Raj Bhavsar and Nastia Liukin) about their experiences in Beijing; being Olympic athletes, and what it takes to realize the dream and the payoff of so many years of hard work and perseverance. He was particularly interested in the story of Raj Bhavsar. This was his second Olympic games where he ended up as an alternate (didn't make the team for a second time, 8 years), only to be called up after the team got to Beijing because one of the team members had to pull out due to an injury. It is a story of faith, hope, and courage in the face of hard work, and so many let downs. Raj says he has returned to his faith and this experience will help better prepare him for life after gymnastics.

By the time they arrived back in Reno, the team and the flight crew were good friends and hugs and high fives were shared by all. Robin commented that in 27 years of flying and racking up experiences, this was probably the most memorable, at least its the one that he can remember right now (his forgetter is getting better).

Ali's Birthday

So last weekend I went to St George again but this time for Ali's Birthday. She turned 3 on the 30th of Aug. She is so cute anytime you ask her how old she is she will hold up 3 fingers and then tell you she is 3 months old. And then we remind her that she is 3 years old. It is pretty funny.

She was so funny to watch open her presents because she would get so excited about the present she was opening that she really didn't care that there were more presents to open. She would want to get off the chair and play and Errin wouldn't let her, she made her stay on the chair and open ALL of her presents. My sister Ashley gave her a pair of hot pink dress up shoes and she loved them she immedietley put them on so here is a picture of her opening presents with the shoes on. She is opening her beauty and the beast tea set.

She also got 3 disney princess barbie dolls that she LOVES.. Mulan, Cinderella, and Belle. A pink hello kitty golf set (don't worry its just plastic). My mom got her some playdoh and Errin refuses to let Ali play playdoh at her house so the playdoh went to my moms house. (Errin your so funny)
And then last but not least Jared, Ali's dad made her a kitchen set, Errin gave Jared a copy of the Pottery Barn kitchen set and Jared made Ali the same set minus the fridge and washer and dryer. (so maybe that is what she will get for Christmas)

Ali blowing out her candles. And Errin made her adorable cake.
